Paymentology expands reach into Latin America through partnership with Intercash

UK cloud-native payment processor Paymentology has extended its global footprint into the Latin America and Caribbean regions as it announces a partnership with Intercash, a global provider of payment solutions and custom white-label card programs.

Leveraging Paymentology’s APIs, consumers on Intercash’s VISA program in the region will benefit from real time-card usage approvals and market-leading fraud monitoring.

The data collection capability at point of sale, which Paymentology provides, will enhance Intercash’s ability to respond to client demand and implement new product launches at speed.

Commenting on the partnership, Shane O’Hara, CEO of Paymentology said, “The opportunity to introduce the Paymentology brand into Latin America and the Caribbean is important for us. To do so in conjunction with such an established name in global financial services as Intercash is equally important, and we look forward to extending our relationship into additional jurisdictions as we move forward.”

Aaron Gladman, CEO of Intercash’s Card Division, welcomes the integration of the Paymentology functionality: “Paymentology’s advanced technology and the ability to integrate it seamlessly and at speed into the Intercash card platform makes it the natural selection for us, and we are pleased to be working with the Paymentology team in this first phase of our relationship.”
