

2 April 2025 – Paymentology, the leading global issuer-processor, today announces the appointment of Jim Hart as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
With over 25 years of experience in IT security, Jim is an innovative and results-driven leader known for delivering large-scale security transformation projects and advising both scale-ups and large enterprises on cybersecurity strategies.
Jim brings extensive expertise in defining and executing pragmatic and effective security strategies that safeguard businesses against a diverse range of cyber threats. He specialises in complex hybrid and cloud environments, having led security initiatives across multinational banking, fintech, services, and manufacturing industries.
He joins Paymentology from GENII Software Group, where he served as Group Chief Information Security Officer, leading security initiatives across more than 100 legal entities and 3,000 employees. In this role, he aligned cybersecurity efforts while enhancing risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance. His experience also includes senior roles at Pollinate International, CyberProof, AlixPartners, Symantec, and Integralis.
